IELTS Life Skills Course

Introduction

This course is for students who will sit for our placement test and obtain A1 and A2 English language competency levels. This IELTS exam is especially for those who plan to obtain a visa to join their families in the UK, apply for citizenship or indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

Our lesson materials are developed by an experienced IELTS course designer in the UK and the course is delivered by experienced Sri Lankan trainers with teaching qualifications from the University of Cambridge and Trinity College London. In addition, guest lectures are carried out by qualified
and experienced lecturers from the UK via zoom.

Course Structure

This course is designed to develop your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation and to practise the subskills of listening and speaking required to perform successfully in different task types of the IELTS Life Skills examination. In addition, practical time management tips are shared with you throughout the course.

Further, two mock tests and two counselling sessions are carried out to prepare you for the IELTS exam.

Course Duration

You will attend classes for 10 weeks. This covers 60 hours of training with 6 hours of exam preparation classes (3-hour lessons on 2 days) per week. In addition, you will complete 3 hours of self study tasks per week on Google Classroom.
