Welcome To UK Skills Awards

UKSA is an UK based training organisation established in 2008 for students, employee and employers. Our key objective is to offer a high quality service and assistance for our students to achieve employability skills to meet the contemporary employer needs. What are Employability Skills?

Employers are often looking for skills that go beyond qualifications and experience. Your education and experience may make you eligible to apply for a job but, to be successful in most roles; you will need skills that you are likely to develop over time. Some will be specific to the job, but the vast majority will be so-called ‘soft skills’ that can be used in any job or employment sectors. These soft skills are ‘employability skills’: they are what makes you employable.

We are also providing programmes in different areas of business management, tourism and hospitality, computing & system development, English, Health and Social care management Hairy Stylist and beauty therapy, Multimedia and Music. These qualifications are being developed to meet the industry standards with the employer led participation around globally.

Our vision is to be a leading training provider in the UK and globally offering innovative and high quality learning experiences for both learners and businesses.  Guided by our core values, we are focused on excellence and aim to elevate apprenticeships to the highest possible levels of attainment. Our developing partnerships with employers are key to achieving this aim and to ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe and supportive place to work and learn.

Mission Statement

UKSA aims to seize opportunities to further develop the support and commitment of the employers and learners we work with in the delivery of high quality training and education programmes. Our collaborative and inclusive approach to work-based learning is expanding our employer base and we seek to further develop this both nationally and internationally. We will provide innovative knowledge for our learners globally to enhance their skills for employability achievement.

Quality

All our overseas centres are successfully reviewed by European Quality Assurance Commission to deliver different levels of programmes. Quality and raising standards are paramount in everything that we do. Through our partnerships with employers we aim to offer high quality programmes that both challenge and stretch our learners throughout their chosen apprenticeship.  The quality of teaching and learning at our placements is a top priority and with robust quality checks and ongoing support, we are committed to achieving excellent provision for all of our learners.

From the feedback we have received from learners and businesses, our training has had a considerable positive impact on companies and careers.  We aim to continue this with the new standards, placing good value products and services at the core.

Experience

Our managers and staff have extensive knowledge and experience and are kept up to date through their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), standardisation and regular training. We have 20 years’ experience of WBL and the industries we work with, and we understand the value of excellent relationships with employers to encourage and support the best possible training and delivery models.

UKSA is an approved training provider and currently in the UK Register of Training Providers and Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA) of Department for Education (DfE) UK. We actively encourage participation and involvement in pursuing both learner and employer excellence, through the achievement of national and local awards.
